Bill Scrivner
CEO
Bill Scrivner, founder and CEO of Pinnacle Mergers and Acquisitions, began selling car dealerships just two weeks after his 23rd birthday. After playing college baseball for four years to fund his marketing degree, Bill married his college sweetheart, turned down an offer to play professional baseball, and dedicated himself to selling car dealerships. Thirty years later, Bill and his team at Pinnacle have completed over 750 transactions worth BILLIONS of dollars for their clients.
In the late 1990s, Bill assisted several publicly traded companies in beginning their dealership acquisitions, building a strong track record with top consolidators in the automotive industry. He is a trusted advisor because he tells clients the truth, not just what they want to hear or what will close the deal. Bill maintains confidentiality and helps clients execute their plans for success, however they define it.
Bill and his wife, Rae, married in 1993 and have four beautiful daughters. Bill spent eighteen years coaching his daughters’ soccer teams and continued supporting them, and the other girls who played for him, through their college soccer careers. One of Bill’s U19 teams was ranked number one in the state of Texas for over 12 months.
Mike Sims
President
Mike Sims is the President of Pinnacle Mergers and Acquisitions and stays actively involved in all areas of transactions. From sourcing deals, to negotiations and closing transactions, Mike focuses on building long-term relationships with clients.
Mike spent many years at JP Morgan Chase before Pinnacle Founder and CEO Bill Scrivner asked him to join the founding Pinnacle team. Mike enjoys getting to meet amazing people with an array of talents and some of the greatest entrepreneurs in the history of our country. He has helped build a vast network ranging from contacts to trusted advisors, and a reputation as a firm built on honesty and integrity.
Mike is a graduate of Baylor University where he obtained a degree in business. When he’s not negotiating deals or overseeing transactions for Pinnacle, Mike can be found on the golf course or cheering on the Baylor Bears. Mike, his wife and their three kids stay involved in their church.
Wes Hamilton
Executive Vice President
Wes Hamilton joined our team in 2014. He oversees new business development at Pinnacle Mergers and Acquisitions and manages day-to-day operations. He focuses on business growth and developing new opportunities for the company to better serve their clients. Wes has been a great addition to the team and has a proven track record of successful transactions.
In his role with Pinnacle, Wes values building relationships with clients and helping them achieve their business goals. As a trusted advisor, Wes has the skills and knowledge for managing the sales process from start to finish and is great at developing new client relationships, while strengthening those with current clients. Wes believes in being a part of a tight-knit team and this shows both in his relationships with clients and his Pinnacle family. Wes partners with clients to give them the deals best suited for their specific needs.
Wes received his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Christian University and a master’s degree from the University of Texas Arlington. Before joining Pinnacle, Wes spent his early years in education and umpiring professional baseball. After several years in the minor leagues, Wes was selected as a AAA All-Star umpire and even called some major league games during spring training. Now he serves as the Executive Vice President for Pinnacle. When Wes isn’t working, you can find him spending time with his beautiful family and volunteering with the non-profit BridgesWork, where he serves as the board president. Wes is married to Carrie Hamilton, and they have two kids, Austin and Ally.
JB Douglas
Chief Operating Officer
JB Douglas is the Chief Operating Officer for Pinnacle Mergers and Acquisitions, bringing years of expertise in real estate investments to the firm. His leadership and industry knowledge have driven Pinnacle’s growth and success.
JB oversees daily operations, ensuring that all processes align with the company’s strategic goals and that resources are allocated efficiently. He collaborates closely with department heads to streamline operations and optimize performance across all business units. Additionally, JB plays a key role in shaping and executing the company’s long-term vision, driving initiatives that enhance productivity and foster innovation.
With a focus on delivering exceptional client service, JB is committed to maintaining the firm’s high standards and reputation in the industry. Outside of his professional life, JB is a proud father of two daughters who attend Baylor University.
Isabelle Hohenberger
Executive Assistant
Isabelle Hohenberger, who serves as an Executive Assistant, is the newest addition to the Pinnacle Mergers and Acquisitions team. With her unique skill set, management philosophy and devotion to streamlining an excellent office environment, she works faithfully to serve her team and their clients. Isabelle is passionate about customer experience and excellent service. She recognizes and exhibits the importance of investing time into client relationships to build trust and reinforce strong partnerships.
Isabelle has risen to a wide variety of roles and responsibilities at Pinnacle. She works behind the scenes on managing office operations, marketing, projects and data analysis to help the company better serve their clients. Isabelle is committed to excellence, and through collaboration with advisors she takes advantage of opportunities for innovative and creative solutions. While prioritizing client experiences, she works to exemplify Pinnacle’s values in all aspects of her work. She places the highest emphasis on investing in people and optimizing the interactions between Pinnacle and their clients.
Before joining the Pinnacle team Isabelle worked in sales, hospitality and the customer service industry; all of which can be seen in her exceptional interpersonal skills. When she is not working, Isabelle is spending quality time with her son. She is still an active member of her childhood church where she found her motivation to serve people in an extraordinary capacity.
